Melmac Penis Envy Magic Mushrooms

Melmac Penis Envy Magic Mushrooms (Psilocybe Cubensis Melmac), also known as Homestead Penis Envy, are a unique variant of the renowned Penis Envy strain, originally developed by early psychonauts Terrence McKenna and Steven Pollock. Over the years, many mycologists have worked with the original strain to create their own versions. The name Homestead refers to a spore vendor from the Pacific Northwest, active in the 1980s but now absent from the underground mushroom scene. It’s believed that the name Melmac was inspired by a fictional planet from the sitcom ALF, which aired from 1986 to 1990.

What distinguishes Melmac shrooms from the original Penis Envy strain is their alien-like appearance. The stems are often more irregularly shaped, and the caps have wavy edges. In terms of color, the Melmac strain closely resembles its Penis Envy ancestors, with nearly colorless stems and caps ranging from light to dark golden caramel.
